- Intro. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines the information we collect and how it is utilized. It applies exclusively to all Privacy Beginner websites (collectively referred to as “Privacy Beginner Sites”). This Policy does not govern affiliate websites that maintain their own privacy policies, nor does it apply to the websites of our business partners or any third-party entities, even if their websites are linked to Privacy Beginner Sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third parties with whom you engage. Please read this Policy thoroughly to understand how we handle your information and the practices we follow. Note that this Policy is subject to updates. Your continued use of the Privacy Beginner Sites after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy, so we recommend checking this page periodically for changes.

This includes your name, job title, work email, organization or employer name, work phone number, IP address (used to auto-populate country and city/state), and location details such as your work address.
- If you or your organization purchases products or services from Privacy Beginner, we may collect financial and billing information. This may include your name, address, credit card details, or bank account information. In most cases, this information pertains to your employer or organization.
- We may collect your image and/or voice, such as for phone/video call recordings (for quality assurance and administration purposes).
- If you engage or interact with us in other ways, we may collect information such as any feedback you provide through our Sites, and your responses to marketing materials or survey communications.
- Privacy Beginner may also acquire your Personal Data in the course of mergers or acquisitions of or with another company or business.
- We may also obtain Personal Data about you from third-party sources. This includes colleagues at your organization, such as when they list you as a contact for your organization’s account. We may also gather information from publicly available sources, like your organization’s website, as well as from vendors, such as web analytics tools or data enrichment providers.
- Information Usage. Privacy Beginner uses your personal information to:
- Depending on your relationship with Privacy Beginner, we may process your Personal Data for various purposes. If applicable law requires consent for a specific use, we will obtain your explicit consent before collecting and processing your Personal Data. Additionally, Privacy Beginner may disclose Personal Data to comply with legal obligations, including during legal proceedings, governmental or law enforcement investigations, or for tax and other reporting requirements. Disclosure may also occur to:

- In order to operate our business, your Personal Data may be transferred from your country (e.g., the UK or the European Economic Area) to a location that may not be recognized by your country’s authorities as having equivalent privacy protections. In such cases, and in addition to the other measures described in this Notice, Privacy Beginner will implement appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as utilizing UK/EU standard contractual clauses.
- Collection and Use of Children’s Information. The Privacy Beginner Sites are not designed for use by children. Individuals under the age of 18 are prohibited from submitting personal information to or through the Privacy Beginner Sites. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you are under 18, you must not use or provide any information on the Privacy Beginner Sites, including through its features, nor should you make purchases or share any details about yourself, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, or any screen name or username. Should we become aware that personal information from a child under 18 has been collected without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete the data. - Third Party Sites. Please be aware that other websites that may be accessed through Privacy Beginner Sites may collect personal information about you. The information practices of those third-party web sites are not covered by this Policy. PRIVACY BEGINNER DOES NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PRACTICES OF ENTITIES, WEBSITES AND/OR OTHER SITES NOT OWNED BY PRIVACY BEGINNER.
- Credit Card Data. When you make a purchase or transaction on the Privacy Beginner Sites, we may request specific information, including your credit card details, to securely and efficiently process your payment. To facilitate these transactions, we utilize third-party payment processors and services that handle the collection and processing of this information on our behalf. We ensure that all third-party services we engage with adhere to applicable data protection laws and industry standards. Importantly, Privacy Beginner does not store or retain your credit card details on our servers or databases. Instead, your credit card information is securely transmitted directly to our payment processor for immediate processing.

- Retention. Privacy Beginner retains and processes Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or to meet our legal obligations. The retention period is determined based on several factors, including (i) the volume, nature, and sensitivity of the Personal Data; (ii) the intended use, including whether the purpose can be achieved through alternative means, such as deidentified data; (iii) the potential risk of harm from unauthorized access or disclosure; and (iv) applicable legal requirements. Once the applicable retention period has elapsed, we will either delete the Personal Data, convert it into a form that no longer identifies you, or, if deletion or deidentification is not technically feasible, implement measures to ensure it is no longer used.

- Not be subjected to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal or similarly significant effects (“Automated Decision-Making”). Please note that Privacy Beginner does not currently engage in Automated Decision-Making in its Sites or activities covered by this Notice.

- Your rights regarding Personal Data will depend on the privacy or data protection laws applicable to your situation, which are typically based on your country of residence, the nature of the Personal Data in question, and the purpose of its processing. In certain circumstances, Privacy Beginner may not be able to fully or partially fulfill your request due to legal or other constraints. Privacy Beginner will make every effort to inform you of the reasons for any denial or limitation of your request. Where allowed under applicable laws, you may also appoint an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf.

In accordance with this Notice, we do not collect or process “sensitive” data or protected characteristics under California law for the purpose of inferring traits or attributes about an individual.
